Surveilling a Crime Scene is a companion flip book to the award-winning film of the same name, which examines the materialization of non-Indigenous life on Miriwoong Country. Through collected moments, the book highlights colonization as an ongoing and present violence rather than a historical event. Featuring an essay by novelist and critic Fiona Kelly McGregor, it extends the film’s critical lens into print.
The film itself has been recognized internationally, winning Best Documentary Short at the Sharjah Film Platform 7 and screening at multiple festivals and exhibitions.
