About Samaa
Samaa Emad, a visual artist currently in Gaza, creates powerful works exploring art, identity, and humanity. Born in Jabaliya and holding a BA in Graphic Design, she uses animation and digital media to reflect on home, resilience, and oral history.

Her innovative storytelling has featured in international exhibitions, including shows at the Institut Français in Gaza (2021, 2023) and APOLIDÌA in Mestre, Italy, which explored the relationship between contemporary art and homeland.

Samaa is also the author of several children's books, blending her unique visual style with moving narratives to spark curiosity, empathy, and understanding in young readers.
